Kimberly Wilson Wetty joined Valerie Wilson Travel in 1995. An expert in luxury travel, Kimberly developed the company’s cruise division, which today is a top producer for all luxury and premium cruise lines. By 1998, Kimberly’s role expanded to managing all leisure business for Valerie Wilson Travel. She is responsible for maintaining the Virtuoso membership.

In addition to managing the leisure side of the business, Kimberly spends a large majority of her time growing the VWT brand through new Branch and Affiliate locations, new Associate Agents, and marketing alliances and programs. Kimberly is an integral part of the overall management of the company and daily operations, with a special emphasis on Human Resources.

She represents Valerie Wilson Travel on several Advisory Boards including Classic Customs Vacations, Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Cambridge Beaches, and Silversea Cruises. Respected as a travel expert, she is often interviewed for TV programs (CNBC, WB11 News, The Exchange, and Travel Log); regularly quoted in consumer and trade publications; asked to participate in round table discussions; and used as a “sounding board” for new ideas, products and promotions.

Kimberly graduated from Bucknell University with a BA in Sociology. After graduating from college, she was a store Manager for Ann Taylor in NYC. Her passion for travel, managing and working with people, and retail sales, lead her to CIGA Hotels where she coordinated marketing efforts in The Americas for 30 international hotels.

Personal interests for Kimberly include running (completed the 1997 NYC Marathon), reading and traveling. She remains an active alumna and volunteer for Bucknell University and is the mother of a 4 year old son and 3 month old daughter.
